The end of March saw Headline's official Crime Week, in which we celebrated Headline's fantastic crime and thriller list. The week kicked off with a hugely successful Crime party at Brown's Courtrooms, London. We invited all our UK Crime and Thriller authors, members of the book trade and the national press to generally shout about how fantastic Headline's Crime list is.
Tuesday night saw a glamorous dinner in Glasgow for Anne Perry, Quintin Jardine, Clio Gray and Andrew Nugent, which was very well attended by members of the book trade.
Wednesday was the turn of the Queen's hotel in Cheltenham to host a dinner for Michael Jecks, Vena Cork, Martin O'Brien and Paul Doherty which was a great night.
Jed Rubenfeld, the Crime fiction STAR of 2007, was back at No. 1 in the Sunday Times bestseller list for Headline Crime Week and was also over in the UK doing press and celebrating the success of The Interpretation of Murder with Headliners.
