Steve Martini, a former trial attorney, has worked as a journalist and capital correspondent in the California State House in Sacramento. He has been engaged in both public and private practice of law. He lives on the US West Coast with his wife and daughter.
 

McDermott, Andy
Andy McDermott works as a freelance writer (and occasional cartoonist) and in a previous incarnation was magazine editor for, amongst others, DVD Review and the iconoclastic film magazine Hotdog. Andy was born in West Yorkshire and now writes and lives in Bournemouth.

Nadel, Barbara
Trained as an actress, Barbara Nadel is now a public relations officer for Rethink Severe Mental Illness's Good Companions Project. Her previous job was a mental health advocate in a psychiatric hospital. She has also worked with sexually abused teenagers and taught psychology in both schools and colleges. Born in the East End of London, she now lives in Lancashire and has been a regular visitor to Turkey for over twenty years.
 

Nugent, Andrew
Andrew Nugent lives in Ireland and is a former practising trial lawyer who now, as a monk of the order of St Benedict, is Prior at Glenstal Abbey, a boys' school in Limerick. He worked for some years in a monastry in Nigeria, West Africa and has spent time in Israel, Chicago and New York.
