Jackson Braun, Lilian
Lilian Jackson Braun composed her first poem at the age of two. She began writing her Cat Who... detective series when one of her own Siamese cats mysteriously fell to its death from her apartment block. Since then over twenty Cat Who... novels have been published, all featuring the very talented Koko and Yum Yum, Siamese cats with a bent for detection. She and her husband, Earl, live in the mountains of North Carolina.
 

Jardine, Quintin
Quintin Jardine took to crime writing both naturally and with relief. Both series of books by Quintin Jardine are available from Headline, the Bob Skinner novels, and the equally praised but very different, Oz Blackstone series. Quintin Jardine is married with an extended family of four adult kids, and two Tonkinese cats.
 

Jecks, Michael
Michael Jecks gave up a career in the computer industry to concentrate on writing and the study of medieval history, especially that of Devon and Cornwall. He lives with his family in northern Dartmoor.
 

Kellerman, Faye
Faye Kellerman was born in St Louis, Missouri. She began her career as a dentist but turned to writing after the birth of her eldest child in 1978. As well as the highly popular Peter Decker series she has also written one historical mystery. In between writing, she tries to find the time to enjoy her two favourite hobbies, gardening and music. She has four children and lives with them and her husband, novelist and psychologist, Jonathan Kellerman, in Los Angeles.
 

Kellerman, Jonathan
After a distinguished career in child psychology, Jonathan Kellerman turned to writing full-time, and there are now over thirty million copies of his novels in print. He is also the author of two volumes of psychology. He lives in Southern California with his wife, the novelist Faye Kellerman, and their four children.
