Ten things you didn't know about Simon Spurrier (in his own words...) 1. He’s an accomplished maker of sushi, though the seaweed makes him fart. 2. He’s written for 2000AD since the age of 18. 3. He’s a militant agnostic, which isn’t as silly as it sounds. 4. As a toddler he fell off a chair and sliced off the top section of the little finger on his left hand. 5. As a teenager he fell off a horse and snapped in half the little finger on his right hand. 6. He tends to keep his little fingers covered. 7. He’s worked as a till-monkey, a cook, a Periodical Distribution Agent and an Art Director for the BBC (in decreasing order of enjoyment). 8. At school he was presented with a prize by the Queen. He’s convinced he accidentally spat at her while explaining what it was for. 9. His favourite place in the world is exactly 1/3rd of the way across the wobbly bridge outside the Tate Modern (walking from the Southwark side). 10. He can no longer remember all the words to the Um Bongo song. http://www.simonspurrier.co.uk/
